If you haven't already done so, please take the quiz so I can learn more about your hair and what you are looking for.
I will then send you a custom design, product guide, and maintenance schedule.
You can book your appointment by clicking on the Salon Services tab and finding the service option that fits you best. I have two options for haircut only appointments. If you have curly or wavy hair and want to wear it natural, select the Curly Cut Experience so we can do a dry cut and I can walk you through the wash and style process. Otherwise, select The Refresh. There are 4 options for color services. These prices include any additional color needed as well as deep conditioning treatments. You will be required to check that you've read and agree to our Covid-19 salon policies and all appointments require credit card on file, which will not be charged until the service is complete. Once you book your appointment, you will receive an email confirmation.
48 hours prior to your appointment, you will receive an email and text confirmation. I ask that if you need to cancel, please do so outside of 48 hours in order not to incur a 50% of service charge.
The day before your appointment, I will text you with a health questionnaire to ensure you are not ill or been around someone who is sick. I will also remind you about our policies.
Before Your Appointment
On the day of your appointment, I recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early in order to find parking. There is free 2 hour parking on both 26th and 27th streets and paid parking directly in front of the salon on J Street. If you park on J, you will need to go to the parking meter located just to the right of Birkenstock. It will ask for your license plate number.You can download the Park Mobile app, which allows you to add time from your phone if necessary. (Currently J Street is free on weekends and after 4:30pm on Weekdays).
Once you are parked, text me to let me know you're here. I will meet you upstairs above Birkenstock right outside of the salon, have you wash your hands, and we will head on in to get started!
We are currently not offering food and beverages and masks are required for all guests and stylists at all times. We also are asking that you come alone to your appointment in order to reduce capacity.
I love to chat with you about your hair and help create the perfect look for you. We will have a thorough consultation and I will explain what I am doing and why throughout our time together.
It's important to me that you feel confident styling your own hair at home. As I'm styling your hair, I will talk to you about what products and techniques I'm using and how you can recreate it when you leave the salon.
We carry Eleven Australia products. I love them because they do exactly what they say they are going to do, are cruelty-free, 100% recyclable packaging, vegan and gluten free. Plus, they smell amazing! I will give you recommendations of products to take home.
At the end of your appointment, I will let you know when you should ideally come back in based on your hair and desired maintenance. Within a week of your appointment, I will be reaching out to make sure you love your hair and make note of any changes you want to make at your next appointment.
